1. About the service
Bitcoin Edge Insights provides informational Bitcoin market analytics and is operated by Bitcoin Edge Insights LLC, a Virginia limited liability company formed October 24, 2026. The service domain is bitcoinedgeinsights.com. Contact: support@bitcoinedgeinsights.com.
Public Bitcoin analytics are free to access without signing up. The website is intended for adults aged 18 and older. This policy describes current information handling, not future paid, trading or wallet services.
2. Account and support information
Viewing public analytics does not require an account. Protected owner controls require authentication and server-checked owner permission; signing in does not grant owner privileges. Account creation is restricted to invitations; public registration is not available. Authentication processes email addresses, credentials, verification and recovery information, account identifiers, sessions and sign-in/security records. Passwords are submitted to the authentication service for verification and are not intentionally stored as plaintext by the application.
Protected account records and owner permissions support access control. The application does not currently offer payments, wallet custody or transactions and does not request payment details, wallet keys, seed phrases, government identifiers or financial-account credentials.
If you contact support, your email address and the information you send are processed to handle your inquiry. Please do not email passwords, recovery links, keys or other secrets.
3. Browser storage and cookies
- Local storage holds authentication session information used to maintain sign-in.
- Client-side price alerts, thresholds, checking baselines, statuses and crossing timestamps are saved on your device. Alerts are checked only while the Alerts page is visible; this is not scheduled monitoring or push delivery.
- Password recovery uses separate local storage for temporary browser-bound verification and recovery session state. Removing it during recovery can prevent verification.
- Session storage holds a temporary authentication-link purpose and timestamp for invitation/recovery handling.
We do not use advertising trackers or optional marketing analytics in the application. This is not a claim that hosting, preview access, authentication or other infrastructure uses no cookies or other storage. Provider-managed cookies and storage are governed by the providers’ own policies.
4. Infrastructure, analytics and operational records
Lovable Cloud provides hosting, authentication and database infrastructure. Security, authentication and operational/error records support delivery and troubleshooting. Application error handling can forward exception information and page paths to Lovable reporting hooks when available; recovery diagnostics use fixed non-secret categories.
No separate third-party visitor-analytics library is configured in the application source. Lovable’s analytics documentation states that platform visitor analytics starts counting on publication without additional setup. It reports visits, page views, visit duration, traffic sources, countries and device types. Lovable describes this analytics as cookie-free, with a random visit identifier discarded at the end of the visit; that description applies to visitor analytics, not all hosting or authentication processing.
The absence of an application analytics library does not establish zero collection. Infrastructure processing may involve connection and device information, request/page information and timestamps.
Built-in hosting analytics is distinct from optional marketing analytics. Provider-managed cookies, operational fields, subprocessors and retention practices are governed by the hosting provider’s own policies; this policy does not promise that platform analytics or operational collection is disabled.
5. Third-party services
- Lovable Cloud: hosting, authentication, protected account data, market cache and operational services; Lovable privacy information.
- Google Fonts: your browser requests font styles and files directly from Google services, which can receive connection information such as IP address and browser/request metadata; Google Fonts privacy information.
- Cloudflare support-email forwarding: email to the public support address passes through Cloudflare forwarding to a support inbox. Email addresses, message content and email metadata may be processed by forwarding and mailbox providers. The receiving-mailbox provider’s own retention practices apply.
- CoinGecko: servers retrieve and cache public Bitcoin prices and history. This integration does not send customer account or session data to CoinGecko, and your browser does not directly fetch market data from CoinGecko. Provider attribution remains displayed.
- Lovable AI Gateway: owner-only AI functionality is disabled and is not part of the current public service. Its evidence preparation uses public market figures, not customer/account information. Any future activation would require a separate review of model-provider processing and retention and an updated disclosure.
6. Uses, sharing and security
Information supports sign-in, account security, delivery of analytics and support, and operational troubleshooting. The application has no implemented advertising trackers, optional marketing analytics, data-broker sale or payment integration. Infrastructure providers process information for their services. Information may also need to be disclosed where required by applicable law; this policy does not promise that no information is ever shared.
Existing protections include protected database access, server-checked owner authorization and browser-bound password recovery. No system can guarantee absolute security. Applicable legal disclosure and incident-notification requirements will be followed; no particular notification deadline is promised here.
7. Retention and privacy requests
A fixed service-wide retention schedule has not been established. Authentication, database, support-email and operational records may have different provider retention practices. Browser storage can persist until application cleanup or browser removal; clearing it may remove alerts or interrupt sign-in/recovery and does not delete server-held account records.
Send privacy questions or access, correction, deletion or export requests to support@bitcoinedgeinsights.com. We may need to verify your identity before handling an account-related request; do not send passwords or recovery secrets. This contact route is not automatic deletion and does not establish a response deadline. Applicable state privacy rights remain unaffected by this policy.
8. Eligibility and policy changes
The website is intended for people aged 18 and older, not children. No age-verification process is implemented. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact support@bitcoinedgeinsights.com; and we will handle its deletion.
Policy updates will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Additional notice will be provided where required by applicable law.
